Richard Ng
Richard Ng is the Co-Founder and the CTO of Greenworkx. The focus of Greenworkx is to address the global green skills crisis, striving to bring 10 million individuals into green jobs within a decade to contribute to net-zero goals.
His journey began in March 2014 as Director-Producer-Writer of "UKIP: The Musical," a project lasting 3 months.
In October 2014, he participated in an Insight Programme with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), engaging in a 1-month internship.
From January 2015 to May 2015, Richard served as Festival Director for the Brasenose Arts Week Festival, dedicating 5 months to the role.
During the same period, from January 2015 to May 2015, he held the position of Student Consultant & Team Leader at Centrica.
From September 2015 to April 2016, Richard worked as a Brand Manager (Graduate Recruitment) at Teach First for 8 months.
Following this, he took on the role of a full-time Teacher of Mathematics at Teach First from September 2016 to August 2017, spanning 1 year.
Transitioning into a new sector, Richard became COO & software developer at One Maths, working full-time from January 2018 to July 2019, a duration of 1 year and 7 months.
From August 2019 to July 2020, he served as a full-time Software Engineering Coach at Multiverse for 1 year.
Richard's journey then led him to the role of Teacher Trainer at CodeYourFuture from January 2020 to August 2020, an 8-month engagement.
He continued his educational contributions as a Mentor and Instructor at Black Codher Bootcamp from August 2020 to August 2021, dedicating 1 year and 1 month to this role.
Richard then embarked on a 2-year and 1-month tenure with Aademy, where he held various roles including Head of Education, Head of Programme, and Programme Lead on a full-time basis.
In September 2022, he became the Co-founder & CTO of Greenworkx.
