Purpose of role
Bae HQ is the community for high-growth Asian-heritage founders & investors. The Community Manager will be focused on responding to the community and organising events and delivering our programmes. This will involve working with a range of stakeholders from founders to our partners.
Key Tasks

Community & Operations
- Serve as the first point of contact for all community and partner enquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Manage day-to-day engagement within the Bae HQ community platform, keeping members informed of opportunities and updates.
- Support internal processes by identifying and implementing improvements across operations, partnerships, and programmes.
- Track performance and generate insights through data collection, analysis, and reporting to leadership.
- Balance routine operations with strategic projects such as the State of Asian Funding Report, coordinating research, partnerships, and timelines.
Event Management
- Lead the planning and delivery of community events, ensuring seamless execution and a strong attendee experience.
- Coordinate logistics with venues, speakers, and partners to deliver impactful and professional events.
- Oversee event promotion and attendee recruitment to attract relevant founders and investors.
- Collect and analyse event feedback (NPS) to inform continuous improvement.
Programme Management
- Manage relationships with partners, coordinating sessions, and speakers, with tailored communication. Stakeholders range from schools and students to scaled founders.
- Oversee programme delivery, volunteer coordination, and on-site management.
- Refine and expand programme frameworks to enhance founder experience and outcomes.
- Manage application cycles, assess submissions, and maintain communication with applicants, mentors, and session leads.
- Ensure all timelines and deliverables are met, keeping stakeholders informed throughout.
Marketing & Communication
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
- Create and manage content that amplifies our events, programmes, and founder stories.
Collaborate with external partners and speakers to promote joint initiatives and drive engagement.

- Interpersonal skills to manage a wide range of stakeholders and experience in establishing good relationships and alliances with internal and external networks.
- Time management skills to manage and deliver multiple projects and programmes of work alongside each other with available resources, measuring and monitoring performance throughout. You'll be able to effectively develop and implement work plans and ensure all tasks are delivered to the required standards.
- Structured thinking to streamline processes to increase efficiency, customer experience and reliability of delivery.
- Resilience to adapt positively within the context of ambiguous and fast-changing priorities.
- Clear, engaging and articulate communication, able to convey a motivating and compelling sense of purpose, direction and success to key stakeholders.
- Professionalism to achieve deadlines and targets, monitor the performance of the team and take corrective action where necessary. You'll sweat the small stuff and pay attention to detail.
- High standards of integrity, ownership accountability.
- Experience in logistics and delivering regular high-profile events.

- £40,000 - £50,000 salary range depending on experience.
