Chai by Mira

Chai by Mira is a chai spice brand built around a blend of traditional masala chai spices and coconut sugar, designed to dissolve directly into hot milk or water without brewing tea leaves. The product range covers original spice mixes, gingerbread chai and dirty chai, and is sold through the brand's online store and stocked by hospitality clients.
The original blend was developed by founder Mira Manek alongside her mother and grandmother, drawing on Gujarati family recipes. The brand expanded out of a Soho café in Kingly Court that opened in 2018 and has since transitioned to a primarily online business, with wholesale relationships including the Holborn Dining Rooms at the Rosewood London, where the chai has appeared on the breakfast menu for several years.
The company sits within Mira Manek's broader work as an Ayurveda-influenced food and wellness author. The third book in her catalogue, The Book of Chai, explores the history of the drink alongside the brand's recipe philosophy. Chai by Mira positions itself as a vegan, easy-prep alternative to powder-and-syrup chai latte products in the wider hospitality category.
