DeliveryApp is a Manchester-based logistics technology company building a mobile platform that connects independent couriers with parcel collection and delivery demand. The company operates as a marketplace for on-demand and dedicated delivery jobs, enabling self-employed drivers to access work without being tied to a single carrier or employment contract.

The logistics industry has long struggled with a tension between the growing demand for fast, flexible delivery and the welfare of the couriers who make it possible. DeliveryApp was founded on the principle that ethical driver treatment and cutting-edge technology are not mutually exclusive — that a platform can prioritise both transparency for customers and fair conditions for its workforce.

The platform allows independent couriers to browse and accept parcel delivery jobs through a smartphone app, with no minimum hours and flexible scheduling. On the business side, brands and retailers can access a network of vetted, on-demand couriers for same-day and dedicated delivery services. DeliveryApp positions itself as a tech-first operator, with driver tracking and transparent customer care built into the product.

With over 18,000 registered drivers on the platform, DeliveryApp has established a significant presence in the UK logistics market. The company raised £1.6 million to further develop its platform and has appointed Dwain McDonald — former CEO of DPD Group UK — as CEO to lead its next phase of growth, with founder Lance Jones moving to Executive Chairman.
