DeliveryApp is a Manchester-based logistics technology company building a mobile platform that connects independent couriers with parcel collection and delivery demand. The company operates as a marketplace for on-demand and dedicated delivery jobs, enabling self-employed drivers to access work without being tied to a single carrier or employment contract.

The logistics industry has long struggled with a tension between the growing demand for fast, flexible delivery and the welfare of the couriers who make it possible. The company raised £1.6 million to further develop its platform and has appointed Dwain McDonald — former CEO of DPD Group UK — as CEO to lead its next phase of growth, with founder Lance Jones moving to Executive Chairman.
