ERIC is an award-winning UK career platform founded by Mae and Samantha, dedicated to helping 16–25 year olds discover and access opportunities in the creative industries. Before building the app, the team ran the UK's largest creative career festivals for five years, building an audience of over 150,000 Gen Z participants hungry for pathways into media, advertising, fashion, film, TV, music, gaming and more. That deep understanding of what young creatives need drove the creation of the ERIC app.
The platform aggregates thousands of creative career opportunities in one place — internships, apprenticeships, training schemes, mentoring programmes, work experience placements, entry-level roles, competitions and careers events — spanning all 16 creative industry sectors. Users can filter by type, location and industry, with new opportunities added daily. The app operates nationwide across the UK with both in-person and remote options, and has built a community of over 90,000 young people. Partners include the IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising), Sky, The Edge Picture Company, and the Careers & Enterprise Company.
ERIC also serves as a marketing platform for companies looking to build their early-careers talent pipeline or raise brand awareness with the next generation of creative talent. Its Gen Z content team transforms brand briefs into scroll-stopping content delivered across ERIC's channels in the brand's own voice. ERIC is committed to making the creative industries as accessible and diverse as possible, ensuring the sector's talent pipeline reflects the breadth of young people who want to enter it.
