Foresight Group is a FTSE 250-listed specialist investment manager focused on real assets and capital for growth, with around £13bn in assets under management at the end of FY25. The firm was founded in 1984 by Bernard Fairman and Peter English in the UK with a £20m initial fund, listed on the London Stock Exchange in April 2021 at a £455m valuation, and has since acquired businesses including Infrastructure Capital Holdings, Downing's technology ventures arm and WHEB Asset Management.

The Group operates across three divisions: institutional infrastructure (covering renewable energy, hydrogen and natural capital), Foresight Capital Management (open-ended public-markets impact funds), and a Private Equity and Ventures arm that provides seed-to-Series A venture capital, growth and buyout funding, and private credit to UK and Irish SMEs. Its venture capital team writes £500k to £10m cheques into deeptech, hard tech and enterprise software companies, with portfolio names including Spaceflux, Forefront RF and Phlux Technology.

Foresight is headquartered in London's Shard with regional offices in Cambridge, Edinburgh, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Leicester and Nottingham, and international offices in Rome, Madrid, Sydney, Luxembourg and the United States. It is regulated by the UK FCA and the US SEC and serves both institutional investors and UK retail clients through VCT and EIS structures.
