Hands In is a London-based fintech company founded in 2022 to solve the persistent friction of group and split payments, particularly in the travel, ticketing and hospitality sectors. The core problem is that multi-party transactions — where several people want to pay for a single booking using different payment cards — are poorly supported by conventional payment infrastructure. The result is declined transactions, abandoned bookings and lost revenue for merchants: a pain point that costs the travel industry significant sums in failed conversions every year.

The Hands In platform provides a multi-card payment solution that allows groups of people to each contribute to a single transaction using their own payment methods, without the merchant needing to manage the complexity of splitting a booking manually. The system handles multi-card orchestration at the point of payment, reducing failure rates and improving conversion for enterprise clients in travel and hospitality. The technical architecture, built by co-founder and CTO Raul Patel, is designed to integrate with existing payment service providers and checkout flows without requiring significant merchant-side development.

Hands In demonstrated commercial impact early: its solution recovered declined transactions and drove over $6 million in incremental revenue for Air Europa, one of its flagship enterprise clients. The company raised over £1 million across its pre-seed and seed rounds, backed by prominent fintech angels including David Birch, David Parker and Ryta Zasiekina of CONCRYT. The funding has supported product development, payment processing authorisation and expansion into new enterprise verticals within the travel and hospitality ecosystem.
