MindLabs

MindLabs is a London-based live mental wellness platform founded in 2020, on a mission to make looking after your mind as normal as going to the gym. The company was built on the belief that the first wave of meditation apps — predominantly audio-only, static, and one-size-fits-all — was only scratching the surface of what technology could do for mental health. MindLabs takes a fundamentally different approach: a video-first, community-driven platform where expert instructors lead live and on-demand classes in meditation, breathwork, sleep, stress, and anxiety management, all grounded in neuroscience.
The platform gives users access to hundreds of classes designed by clinical psychologists, neuroscientists, and certified breathwork practitioners. Classes are structured to build habits and deliver measurable progress, and the platform integrates biomarker data from wearables — including heart rate, respiration rate, and sleep quality metrics — to personalise the experience and help users track their mental health improvements over time. MindLabs has earned a 4.7 App Store rating and serves users across the UK and Europe.
MindLabs has raised over £2 million in funding, backed by Passion Capital, Seedcamp, and angel investors including serial founders Alex Chesterman OBE, Neil Hutchinson, and Jack Tang. The company is positioned as the next-generation mental wellness platform for an era in which tracking and improving mental fitness is becoming as mainstream as physical exercise.
