Nothing is a London-based consumer electronics company founded in 2020 by Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus, and backed by an investor group including Tony Fadell (father of the iPod), Casey Neistat, and Kevin Lin. The company was founded on a single premise: that consumer technology had become boring. Its mission is to remove barriers between people and technology through radical simplicity and a design language that challenges the industry's prevailing aesthetic norms.

Nothing launched its first product, the Ear (1) wireless earbuds, in 2021 to significant commercial success. Its second major product launch, the Nothing Phone (1) in 2022, marked the company's entry into smartphones. Nothing has raised over $70 million in funding and sold over 5 million products globally. The company continues to expand its product lineup while maintaining its focus on transparent design and seamless connectivity.
