Quantum Dice

Quantum Dice is an Oxford University spinout commercialising a patented quantum random number generation (QRNG) technology that produces certifiably random numbers in real-time, entirely on-chip, without any external hardware or calibration. Founded in 2021 by CEO Ramy Shelbaya, CTO George Dunlop, and Dr. Tristan Sherrat, the company addresses a critical and often overlooked vulnerability in global cybersecurity infrastructure: the quality of randomness underpinning encryption.

Quantum Dice raised a $6 million seed round in 2023, led by Speedinvest and Quantonation. The company has deployed its technology with enterprise customers across financial services, defence, and telecommunications, and is working toward integration into mainstream hardware security modules and semiconductor platforms.
