Zevero is a London-based carbon management platform that helps organisations measure, manage, and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions through a combination of AI-powered software and embedded sustainability expertise. Founded in 2021 by Shigeo Taniuchi, George Wade, and Ben Richardson, the company provides tools for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions calculation, lifecycle assessment, ESG disclosure support, and ongoing decarbonisation strategy. Zevero operates across more than 20 countries and works with organisations including Asahi Group, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and Menicon.

Corporate sustainability reporting has undergone a structural transformation. Frameworks including the UK Sustainability Reporting Standards, the EU's CSRD, Japan's SSBJ Standards, and CBAM exposure requirements are moving climate disclosure to the same level of rigor and governance long required of financial reporting. Yet many businesses — particularly mid-sized companies without large sustainability teams — still treat emissions management as an annual exercise: expensive, confusing, and disconnected from the operational decisions that drive actual emissions outcomes. This gap between regulatory expectation and organisational capability represents the core problem Zevero was built to solve.

Zevero's platform automates emissions data collection and calculation across the full Scope 1-3 value chain, building a reusable dataset that can inform ESG disclosures, product design, sourcing decisions, and supply chain negotiations. Unlike point-in-time reporting tools, the platform is designed to make carbon data continuous and decision-ready — turning sustainability from an annual report into an ongoing business system. Embedded climate experts work within the platform to help clients identify emissions hotspots, set science-based targets, and develop tailored decarbonisation pathways.

In March 2026, Zevero raised $7 million in a new funding round backed by Spiral Capital — which led the company's September 2024 seed round — alongside new investors Gazelle Capital and Deep 30, bringing total capital raised to $14 million. The funding will accelerate product development and support expansion across Asia-Pacific and continental Europe, where regulatory and commercial pressure on corporate emissions management is intensifying most rapidly.
