Abhay Mehrotra is a British-Indian entrepreneur and co-founder of Seikor, a London-based specialist executive recruitment platform focused on senior and leadership hiring in industries where deep domain expertise is scarce. Mehrotra brings a background in business development, strategic consulting, and human capital to his role building Seikor into a differentiated player in the executive search market, focused on the sectors and roles where generic platforms consistently fail to deliver quality matches.

Mehrotra developed his commercial and strategic foundations through a career in business development and outsourcing services, where he worked across sales strategy, business plan development, and client consulting. This experience gave him direct exposure to the hiring challenges facing organisations in complex, specialised industries — and a clear picture of the gap between what executive search firms promise and what they deliver when they lack genuine sector expertise.

In 2020, Mehrotra co-founded Seikor alongside Indira Jain, building the company around a conviction that the best executive hires happen when the recruiter genuinely understands the world the candidate comes from and the world the hiring organisation is navigating. The Seikor model combines a curated network of senior candidates with a technology platform that improves sourcing, assessment, and matching — enabling the quality and trust associated with boutique executive search at a speed and cost point accessible to a broader range of organisations.

Seikor's UK entity, Seikor Group Limited, is incorporated in London and raised £1.2 million in 2024 to develop its specialist recruitment platform and expand its presence across its target industry verticals.
