Akshay Ruparelia is a serial founder and early-stage investor based in London. He is currently Co-founder and CEO of brdge.ai, an AI platform aimed at real-time decision-making, and Co-founder and CEO of 1 Club, a private network for UK-based founders. He also runs AKR Growth Ventures, the consulting and investment vehicle through which he backs early-stage companies.

His best-known venture is Doorsteps.co.uk, the online estate agency he founded at 17 with a £7,000 family loan. The business raised early equity through crowdfunding, scaled to a team of around 60, and sold over £1bn of UK property without paid marketing — built primarily on local representatives and word-of-mouth. He stepped back from day-to-day operations and now holds a Founder and ex-CEO position there.

Ruparelia made the Sunday Times Rich List at 19 and was the youngest UK honouree on the 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe technology list. He sits on the board of The Prince's Trust, advises the Royal Association for Deaf people, and speaks publicly on entrepreneurship and disruption. He is a Goldman Sachs 10KSB alumnus through Oxford University.
