Dhruv Sengupta is a dynamic entrepreneur and tech-enabledpolitical strategist, currently serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of Nusmark,an AI-powered personal secretary service available via WhatsApp. Beforefounding Nusmark, he co-founded Pimlico AI, a GovTech startup that gainedsignificant traction amongst government sub-contractors, for which he secured aYC interview and strong angel investor interest before ultimately disbandingdue to a co-founder split. His previous experience also includes working as aBrand Specialist / International Account Manager at Amazon, where he led techimplementation, pricing negotiations, and strategic initiatives that drovesignificant revenue growth across major accounts, as well as acting as Head ofDeals for a $1Bn+ unit. Earlier in his career, he worked in venture capital,serving as the UK Chief Scout at Class 5 Global, a boutique San Francisco-basedVC. Here he identified high-potential startups in new and emergingtechnologies, especially in biotech and alternative proteins, across developedand underserved international VC markets. This work also involved bringing incapital from numerous well-known sporting figures in the Class 5 network intoSPV investments, including boxer Anthony Joshua.
Beyond tech and startups, Dhruv has been actively involvedin politics with the Liberal Democrats, most notably as the ParliamentaryCandidate for Feltham & Heston in the 2024 UK General Election. As theyoungest candidate in London at the time, he ran a low-budget but impactfulcampaign, achieving nearly 5% of the vote and playing a key role in LiberalDemocrat victories in surrounding Southwest London.
He also served as Head of AI for the party’s London MayoralCampaign, building and instituting new AI-powered campaigning techniquesincluding generating thousands of Election Commission-compliant email repliesthat still sat within party lines, some of the first work in this space everused in major UK elections. His work combines AI-driven innovation with astrong understanding of communications, both political and otherwise, allowinghim to bring tech and AI to underserved areas across industries.
