Dorian Haci

Dr Dorian Haci is the CEO and Co-Founder of MintNeuro, an Imperial College London spin-out pioneering advanced semiconductor technology for next-generation neural implants. Of Turkish heritage, Dorian joined Imperial College London as a Master's student in Professor Tim Constandinou's Next Generation Neural Interfaces Lab, going on to complete a PhD in bioelectronics and a postdoctoral research position before being awarded a Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellowship in 2021 — the springboard from which he founded MintNeuro in 2022.
At MintNeuro, Dorian leads the company's mission to make neural implants smaller, cheaper, and less invasive by replacing bulky legacy electronics with purpose-built semiconductor chips. The company's modular, low-power chips integrate sensing, stimulation, signal processing, and wireless communication into implantable devices that are up to 1,000 times smaller than existing technologies. MintNeuro is currently working on multiple projects with NHS and academic partners, including the NIHR-funded DREAM epilepsy monitoring project and the Innovate UK-funded GOLD project with Amber Therapeutics.
MintNeuro has raised over £2 million in investment from Empirical Ventures, Parkwalk Advisors, Imperial College London, and Plug & Play, and has received more than £14 million in underpinning R&D grant funding. In 2025, the company won three UK Government ARIA awards, was named ChipStart Company of the Year, and was selected for the Microsoft and NVIDIA Agentic Launchpad programme, establishing MintNeuro as one of the UK's most promising deep-tech neuroscience ventures.
