Dr. Tristan Mehta

Dr. Tristan Mehta is a British-Indian doctor and entrepreneur of South Asian heritage who trained as a medical professional and subsequently dedicated his career to elevating the standards of aesthetic medicine education in the UK. He completed a Master's degree in aesthetic medicine at the University of Manchester and went on to develop the Level 7 qualification in cosmetic injectables, which has become the gold standard postgraduate credential in the field.
Tristan founded Harley Academy, the UK's leading postgraduate training provider for aesthetic medicine, offering Ofqual-regulated and JCCP-approved diplomas and masterclasses for doctors, dentists, nurses and clinical pharmacists. He also created the Global Evidence Matrix (GEM), the world's first standardised, evidence-based framework for the safe administration of cosmetic injectables, which underpins all of Harley Academy's teaching.
Under Tristan's leadership, Harley Academy has grown to operate flagship training campuses in London and Manchester, acquired SkinViva Training Academy, and expanded into research and professional community building through the Comma platform for aesthetic medicine professionals. In 2024, the Royal Society of Medicine recognised aesthetic medicine as a new specialty — the first in 35 years — a milestone Tristan has actively championed. Harley Academy secured £8 million in funding from Rockpool Investments to support further growth and innovation in the field.
