Ishveen Jolly is the founder and CEO of OpenSponsorship, a New York-based marketplace that connects brands with athletes and creators for sponsorship deals. Founded in 2014, the platform has facilitated more than 18,000 partnerships and now hosts over 20,000 athlete profiles across 160 sports, with brands including Walmart, ESPN and FanDuel as clients.
Jolly came up through the sports sponsorship industry as an agent and was struck by how fragmented the deal-making process was — much of it still done over cold calls and conference handshakes despite the sector's $60 billion size. Before founding OpenSponsorship she ran Auxus Strategic Solutions in London and held sponsorship roles at Nimbus Communications and Commune Sports & Entertainment in India, having started her career as a strategy consultant at Javelin Group.
She read Economics and Management at Keble College, Oxford, and has been recognised on Forbes 30 Under 30 (Sports, 2015) and Inc.'s Top 100 Female Founders (2019). OpenSponsorship has raised funding from investors including Serena Williams' Serena Ventures.
