Kimeshan Naidoo is a co-founder of Unibuddy, the student-recruitment platform connecting prospective university students with current students at over 500 institutions, and served as Chief Technology Officer of climate-tech company BX from 2023 to 2025. At Unibuddy, where he was CTO and co-founder from 2015, he built the engineering organisation and core product through Seed, Series A and Series B rounds totalling $32 million.
At BX, he led engineering on a platform that helps farmers measure and reduce the carbon footprint of food production by combining soil-analysis data with AI-assisted improvement plans. He stepped back from the operating role at BX in 2025 and now sits on its board as observer; he remains a co-founder and board member at Unibuddy.
Originally from Durban, South Africa, he studied electrical engineering at the University of Cape Town before moving to London for a Computer Science MSc at UCL, where he met his Unibuddy co-founder Diego Fanara.
