Melek Özsoy is a Turkish entrepreneur and co-founder at Bolt Insight, the London-based AI-native market research company. As one of the founding members of the Bolt Insight team, she has contributed to building a company that has transformed how global brands conduct consumer research, bringing a background in research and insights to the company's early strategic and operational development.

Özsoy's professional background is rooted in market research and consumer insights, giving her a practitioner's understanding of the problems Bolt Insight was built to solve. Her experience in the research industry — understanding the limitations of traditional methods, the gap between insight teams and the consumers they study, and the operational complexity of running research at scale — has informed the company's product direction from the start.

At Bolt Insight, she has been part of growing a platform that now operates in over 90 markets, serving clients including Unilever, Danone, and Reckitt through BoltChatAI. The team she helped build spans offices in London, Istanbul, Paris, New York, and Singapore, with approximately 50 people working across research, technology, and commercial functions.

In December 2025, Bolt Insight raised £7 million led by Pembroke VCT to fund the development of its AI Chief Insights Officer — a next-generation product designed to make consumer intelligence an always-on function embedded in brand decision-making. Özsoy remains part of the founding team driving the company's growth into North America and beyond.
