Dr. Raheem Chaudhry

Dr. Raheem Chaudhry is a British-Pakistani medical doctor and entrepreneur who trained at King's College London, where he also conducted research into non-imaging biomarkers for schizophrenia. His clinical background and expertise in translating complex psychiatric concepts into operational frameworks make him a distinctive bridge between frontline healthcare and technology-driven mental health innovation.
In 2024, he co-founded Psyrin as COO alongside Dr. Edwin Wong and Dr. Julianna Olah. In his role, Raheem translates clinical complexity into operational clarity, embedding a patient-centric and evidence-based perspective into every aspect of Psyrin's product development and partnerships. He champions the broader shift in psychiatry toward objective, measurable care — moving away from a system where diagnosis depends heavily on individual clinician expertise and time-intensive patient interviews.
Psyrin's Simon AI platform uses over 200 voice biomarkers to screen for neurodivergence with accuracy exceeding 80% in research studies, and the company's longer-term vision extends to supporting clinicians in the assessment and monitoring of serious mental illness including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Psyrin raised $1 million in pre-seed funding in 2024, backed by 2048 Ventures, Concept Ventures, and Space Cadet Ventures.
