Reena Hammer

Reena Hammer is a British beauty industry leader of Bangladeshi heritage whose career has spanned artistry, brand building, and executive leadership across some of the UK's most prominent luxury retail and wellness destinations. A graduate of King's College London, she spent years building her expertise at Urban Retreat — including its flagship at Harrods — before becoming Global Director of Soho Health Club at Soho House & Co, where she shaped wellness programming across the group's global estate.
In 2022, she joined Aaron Chatterley and Richard Schiessl as co-founder and CEO of indu, a London-based teen beauty brand that takes a genuinely community-led approach to product development. Rather than treating teenagers as a demographic to market to, indu involves a committee of over 250 teens from the UK, US, Australia, and the Middle East at every stage — from ingredient choices and textures to branding and retail strategy. The brand launched in 2023 with a range of microbiome-friendly, refillable skincare and colourless cosmetics designed specifically for teen skin.
Under Reena's leadership, indu secured its first institutional funding round of £4 million led by Unilever Ventures and V3 Ventures in August 2024, and made its retail debut at Sephora UK. The brand has won the New Brand award at TheIndustry.beauty Awards 2024 and is on track for US market entry. Reena is also a collaborator with Ruby Hammer MBE, with whom she previously co-created the Ruby & Millie beauty line for Boots UK and Harvey Nichols.
