Rubina Singh is a Senior Investment Manager on the venture capital team at Foresight Group, the FTSE 250-listed investor with around £13bn in assets under management. She leads early-stage deeptech and climate investments — typically £500k to £10m cheques from seed through Series A — across hardware, enterprise software and science-based startups, sourcing and managing portfolio companies including Spaceflux, Forefront RF, Phlux Technology and Zero Point Motion.

Before joining Foresight, Rubina was a Principal at Octopus Ventures where she co-managed the early-stage deeptech strategy and set up the Octopus Springboard accelerator, which supported 23 selected startups. Earlier she established and led the innovation function at British Gas, having spent eight years before that funding and commercialising startups in Europe, North America and Australia at Centrica Ventures and Fraunhofer TechBridge Ventures. She started her career as a solar engineer at Fraunhofer.

Rubina holds a B.Eng (hons) from the Australian National University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. She sits on the board of POWERful Women and mentors deeptech founders through the European Innovation Council's Scaling Club programme.
