Samit Halvadia

Samit Halvadia is a British Indian technology entrepreneur and co-founder of Rimo3, a London-based enterprise software company that automates Windows application management for large organisations. With deep roots in the South Asian community and a career shaped by two decades at the frontier of enterprise IT, Halvadia has become one of the most respected voices in the end-user computing and workspace automation space.
Halvadia began his career at Acresso Software, working on InstallShield — one of the industry's foundational application packaging tools — before moving to App-DNA, a specialist in application compatibility and readiness. He rose to VP of Global Technology and Solutions Group at App-DNA, a role that positioned him at the heart of enterprise Windows migration work. When App-DNA was acquired by Citrix in 2011, Halvadia transitioned into Citrix, eventually serving as Senior Director of Worldwide Presales Strategy, giving him global exposure to how large enterprises manage technology change at scale. He holds a degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
In 2019, Halvadia co-founded Rimo3 alongside CEO Mike Welling — his former colleague from the App-DNA era. As CTO, he leads the company's technical vision, overseeing the development of the Workspace360 platform, which automates the testing, packaging, validation, and migration of Windows application estates. His expertise in application lifecycle management has been instrumental in building a product that reduces migration timelines from months to days. He is a regular speaker at major enterprise IT events including IGELDisrupt, and frequently publishes insights on topics ranging from SCCM-to-Intune transitions to intelligent patch management.
Under Halvadia's technical leadership, Rimo3 has grown to serve some of the world's largest organisations and forged a formal partnership with Microsoft in 2025 to deliver an official Intune Migration Program. The company generates over $3 million in annual recurring revenue and is recognised as a leader in intelligent workspace automation. Halvadia has been described by peers as a practitioner who brings both deep technical knowledge and strong commercial instinct to the problems enterprise IT teams face daily.
