Shanshan Xu

Shanshan Xu is a co-founder and CFO of MV.Health, the London-founded medical device company pioneering clinically validated, doctor-designed devices for sexual and pelvic health. She has been part of the company since its earliest days, helping to build the financial and operational infrastructure that supports a business which has now reached over 200,000 patients worldwide.

As CFO, Shanshan oversees financial strategy, investor relations and the financial systems that underpin MV.Health's global operations. The company's devices — including its flagship Crescendo and Tenuto ranges — are FDA-registered, FSA/HSA eligible in the United States, and recommended by leading clinicians at institutions including the Mayo Clinic, Cedars-Sinai and King's College London. MV.Health has published 15 peer-reviewed papers and won over 60 international awards, including Red Dot and iF Design.

Under the leadership of the founding team, MV.Health has grown into an international business operating across the US, UK and Europe, with its devices now fully reimbursable through the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Shanshan's financial leadership has been integral to navigating the complex regulatory and commercial landscape of the medical device sector while maintaining the company's mission to make sexual health solutions accessible to all.
