Yaswanth Kumar Pabbisetti

Yaswanth Kumar Pabbisetti, known as Yash, is an Indian software engineer and entrepreneur who co-founded GoCanopy, the AI-powered operating system for institutional real estate investors. He grew up and was educated in India, where he studied at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee), one of the country’s most competitive engineering institutions, before building a career in enterprise software engineering across some of the world’s leading technology companies.
Pabbisetti spent nine years in software engineering, including five years at Google’s Dublin office, where he developed deep experience in building scalable, enterprise-grade systems. He also worked at Pointy, an Irish retail technology startup that was acquired by Google, further sharpening his background in product development within fast-moving technology environments.
He met GoCanopy co-founder William He through shared convictions about the potential for AI to transform institutional workflows, and the pair co-founded GoCanopy in 2023. Pabbisetti brought full-stack engineering leadership and the technical depth required to build an enterprise-grade AI platform capable of handling the complex, sensitive data that institutional real estate investors rely on. His background at Google and Pointy provided both the architectural rigour and the product sensibility that GoCanopy needed to earn the trust of clients such as Brookfield and certain Apollo-managed funds.
GoCanopy raised €2.1 million in seed funding in January 2026 led by ISAI, validating the platform’s early commercial traction. Pabbisetti leads engineering and technology at GoCanopy as the company scales its enterprise platform and opens its London office alongside its Paris base.
