AccessPay

AccessPay is a Manchester-based fintech company founded in 2012 that has built the UK's leading corporate-to-bank integration platform. The company was created to solve a fundamental inefficiency in enterprise finance: despite the sophistication of modern ERP and treasury management systems, businesses still struggle to connect their back-office software to their banks in a seamless, automated and secure way — leaving finance and treasury teams dependent on manual processes, legacy file formats and fragmented workflows.
AccessPay's cloud platform connects corporate finance systems to over 16,000 banks across more than 100 countries, automating payment instructions for all payment types, Direct Debit collections, bank statement retrieval and cross-currency transactions. The platform also provides embedded security enhancements including Confirmation of Payee and Sanctions Screening, helping organisations reduce fraud and error risk. Customers including ITV, Sainsbury's Bank and Admiral Group use AccessPay to manage their global banking operations through a single integrated interface.
The company has raised more than $44 million in total funding from investors including True Ventures, Mastercard, NatWest, Beringea, Route 66 Ventures and Praetura Ventures, and was named in the FinTech 50. AccessPay secured £6.2 million from NatWest Venture & Growth Finance in 2024 to support further expansion, particularly into North America, where it sees significant growth opportunity. The platform now serves over 1,000 enterprise customers globally.
