Centuro Global

Centuro Global is a London-based AI-powered platform that consolidates the legal, tax, immigration, payroll and HR work involved in international expansion into a single system. Companies use it to set up entities, move staff and stay compliant across more than 150 countries without stitching together multiple consultancies and law firms.

The product, branded Centuro Connect, applies generative AI and machine learning to questions such as which visa or work permit a given employee needs based on travel duration and payment location, and surfaces local tax rates, incorporation procedures and immigration rules across jurisdictions. The platform launched in early 2022 and pairs the software layer with a network of vetted local providers delivering services at localised rates.

The company was founded in 2018 by Zain Ali, a former IP lawyer at Bird & Bird, and Asma Bashir, who previously founded and exited immigration firm Newland Chase. Centuro raised £3.3 million from Mercia in April 2023, has grown its team past 45 people and has won the Go:Tech Awards' Best AI/Machine Learning prize and an FEM EMEA award for innovation in global mobility technology.
