CodeWords is an AI agent platform that lets non-technical teams automate business workflows by describing what they need in plain English. The London-based company is targeting a gap between vibe-coding tools, which generate prototypes, and traditional workflow software like Zapier and n8n, which still require users to design and maintain their own automation logic.

At the centre of the product is Cody, an agent that maps a business's tools, goals and operational patterns, then suggests and builds automations that run on CodeWords' own infrastructure. Workflows span more than 3,000 integrations including Asana, Dropbox, Monday.com, Docusign and WhatsApp, and handle tasks such as deal-flow monitoring, content publishing, lead generation and document routing. Cody currently runs around 500,000 workflows a month.

Founded in 2023 by Aymeric Zhuo and Osman Ramadan, CodeWords began as Agemo, an AI research lab working on neurosymbolic reasoning that contributed to the ARC-AGI benchmark. The team pivoted within months into a commercial product. The company employs 14 people in London, is signing its first enterprise customers, and has raised £6.6 million in seed funding led by Visionaries Club, with backing from firstminute capital, Sequel, Illusian and angels including the CEOs of Miro, ElevenLabs, Personio, Zalando and Supercell.
