DabbaDrop is a subscription-based, zero-waste takeaway service delivering plant-based South Asian meals across London in reusable stainless-steel tiffins (dabbas), with collection and refill on the next delivery. The model is built around pre-orders so production matches demand and food waste is minimal, and deliveries are made by bicycle and electric vehicle for emission-free service.

Founded in 2018 in Hackney by neighbours Anshu Ahuja and Renée Williams, the business runs a rotating set of weekly menus drawn from family recipes across India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Japan and elsewhere. By 2024 it had served over 50,000 dabbas, prevented more than 200,000 plastic containers from going to landfill, and built a community of over 18,000 subscribers.

DabbaDrop ran a Seedrs crowdfunding round in 2022 to support expansion and pitched on Dragons' Den in 2025. The team has won the Marie Claire Sustainability Award and been featured in Vogue, TimeOut, The Guardian and the Evening Standard.
