Fuse Energy is a London-based vertically integrated energy company founded in 2022 by Alan Chang and Charles Orr, both former senior executives at Revolut. The company was built around a single thesis: that the only way to deliver genuinely affordable, clean energy to consumers is to own every layer of the value chain — from renewable site construction and power generation through to energy trading, household supply, EV charger installations, and consumer hardware. This "source to socket" model eliminates the margin leakage that accumulates when separate businesses handle each stage of the energy system, enabling Fuse to price electricity around 10% below incumbent suppliers and save the typical household up to £200 a year.

Fuse launched into the UK retail market as the first new residential energy supplier to enter after the 2021–22 energy crisis, and has since grown to supply over 200,000 UK households. The company crossed $400 million in annualised revenue by December 2025, growing approximately eight times year-on-year to reach cash-flow-positive status. It has raised over $150 million in total, including a £50 million round in December 2025 led by Balderton Capital and Lowercarbon Capital at a £3.7 billion valuation. Investors include Lakestar, Ribbit Capital, Creandum, and Accel. Fuse has been ranked the UK's fastest-growing technology company by The Times, and its The Energy Network demand-flexibility platform rewards customers for shifting consumption to off-peak periods, improving its own generation economics while lowering bills further. The company is expanding internationally into Ireland, Spain, and the United States.
