Huma is a London-based global healthcare AI company working to help people live longer, fuller lives by making proactive, data-driven care available to anyone, anywhere. Originally founded in 2011 as Medopad, the company builds software platforms that integrate health data from hospital systems, wearables, and patient-reported inputs, delivering it in real time to clinicians and researchers. This technology powers digital hospital-at-home programmes — enabling healthcare systems to care for patients outside the hospital — as well as decentralised clinical trials for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.

Huma's modular cloud platform supports over 70 countries and is cleared as a Class II Software as a Medical Device by both the FDA and under EU MDR. The company works with more than 3,000 hospitals globally, including NHS Trusts in England and Wales, and has partnered with major pharmaceutical companies, research organisations, and national health systems to run some of the largest decentralised trials ever conducted. Its AI capabilities, developed in partnership with Google, include predictive algorithms and digital biomarkers that enable more personalised and earlier intervention.

Huma has raised over $360 million across multiple funding rounds from a syndicate that includes Leaps by Bayer, Hitachi Ventures, AstraZeneca, Samsung Next, Sony Innovation Fund, and Unilever Ventures. The company has directly benefited more than 27 million people, was twice named one of the Financial Times' fastest-growing companies in Europe, and is a two-time Prix Galien winner. CEO Dan Vahdat is a World Economic Forum Global Innovator and Technology Pioneer.
