Hytro is a UK-based human performance company that produces the world's first wearable Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) product. By embedding the occlusion mechanism directly into apparel, Hytro removes the bulky cuffs and machinery that have historically kept BFR confined to research labs and elite training rooms, making the technology practical for daily use in training and recovery.

The wearables are used by more than 250 professional sports organisations globally — across the Premier League, NFL, NBA, Formula 1, Premiership Rugby, and others — and have been adopted by national teams including England, Wales, and Samoa rugby. In 2024, Hytro flew with the Polaris Dawn mission, supporting NASA and SpaceX research into how BFR can help maintain muscle and bone health in zero gravity.

Founded in 2019 by Raj Thiruchelvarajah, Dr. Warren Bradley, and Paul Harter, Hytro has raised over £1m to date and grew revenue around 80% year-on-year to mid-2025. The company secured a US patent in 2025 (No. 12,317,940), with protection running through 2040, and counts a roster of elite athletes — including Arsenal's Jurrien Timber and the LA Chargers' Benjamin St-Juste — among its investors.
