Motics

Motics is a London-based healthtech company building agentic AI for clinical operations, founded in 2023 by Dr Harvinder Power and Salinna Abdullah. The product is designed for private clinics and growing healthcare organisations that want to scale capacity without proportionally scaling administrative headcount — a problem the founders saw first-hand as clinicians, where between forty and fifty per cent of a typical day is spent on documentation, phone calls, letters and billing rather than on patient care.

The platform deploys a coordinated suite of AI agents that work as a single team behind the scenes. A Scribe agent handles clinical documentation in real time during consultations; a Phone agent acts as a 24/7 receptionist that books patients directly into the clinic's EHR; an Email agent clears inbound clinical correspondence; and a Billing agent runs revenue operations. An Audit agent reviews the output of every other agent at scale, performing 100 per cent audits of clinical notes for Care Quality Commission compliance — a level of oversight that was previously impossible to achieve through manual sampling.

Motics graduated from the Techstars accelerator in 2022 and now serves hundreds of clinics, processing more than ten million patient interactions a year and saving each clinician around two hours a day. The company has expanded internationally through Innovate UK's Global Incubator Program, with active deployments in Canada alongside its UK base, and is one of a small number of clinically-led teams building agentic infrastructure specifically for healthcare safety standards.
