Dr Harvinder Power is co-founder and CEO of Motics, a London-based healthtech company building agentic AI for clinical operations. He started Motics in 2023 after years of working as an NHS doctor in London, where he watched clinicians spend close to half their working day on administrative work — answering phones, writing letters, chasing paperwork — rather than treating patients. The company's premise is that this layer of clinical admin is now a candidate for full workflow automation, not just point-tool acceleration.

Harvinder studied Medicine at Imperial College London, with an additional academic background in Bioengineering, and continues to identify with the doctor-first framing of the product. Before Motics he founded CodeMD, a platform helping healthcare professionals get into machine learning, and was a champion in the Entrepreneurs' Organisation's Global Student Entrepreneur Awards in 2020. Motics graduated from Techstars in 2022.

The Motics platform deploys a coordinated suite of AI agents — Scribe for clinical documentation, Phone for inbound patient calls, Email for inbox management, Billing for revenue operations, and an Audit agent that can review the full output of every other agent for clinical-safety compliance. Hundreds of clinics now use the product, processing more than ten million patient interactions a year and saving clinicians around two hours a day. The company is co-led by Harvinder alongside CTO and co-founder Salinna Abdullah, and has expanded internationally through Innovate UK's Global Incubator Program, including launches in Canada.
