NOQ

NOQ — short for No Queue — is a UK-based event technology company that has built an end-to-end ordering, payments, and operations management platform specifically designed for the live events and venue industry. The company was founded in February 2019 by Param Kanabar and Andrea Diaferio, after Kanabar experienced a 40-minute queue for a drink at Rock in Rio in 2017 and resolved to build a better solution. Since then NOQ has grown into one of the leading hospitality technology platforms serving UK festivals, stadiums, arenas, nightclubs, and food markets.
The NOQ platform provides event organisers and venue operators with a comprehensive suite of tools covering mobile ordering via progressive web apps, EPOS (electronic point of sale) systems integrated with kitchen display systems, automated revenue share for multi-vendor events, loyalty and membership management, staff and stock management, and unified real-time reporting across all sites and vendors. The platform is purpose-built for the high-volume, time-sensitive transactional patterns unique to live events, where thousands of orders may arrive in short bursts and operators need complete visibility across dozens of concurrent vendors.
NOQ has raised over £3.4 million in funding and counts Green Man Festival, Black Deer Festival, Secret Garden Party, Foodies Festival, Edinburgh Street Food, and Fabric nightclub among its clients. Named one of the top 100 growing UK startups in 2022, the company continues to expand its platform capabilities and is targeting international markets as it scales its event-centric payments and data infrastructure.
