Param Kanabar is a British South Asian entrepreneur and the founder of NOQ, a mobile ordering and payments platform built for the live events and venue industry. The idea for NOQ came from a personal experience at Rock in Rio in 2017, where Param found himself waiting 40 minutes in a queue for a drink while the headline act performed. Refusing to accept that as an inevitability of live events, he partnered with co-founder Andrea Diaferio and incorporated NOQ — whose name stands for 'No Queue' — in February 2019.

Param is CEO of NOQ Group, where he oversees the company's product strategy, commercial growth, and expansion into new markets. NOQ provides event organisers and venue operators with an end-to-end platform covering mobile ordering via progressive web apps, EPOS systems, kitchen display systems, automated revenue share, real-time data analytics, and multi-vendor management. The platform is designed to handle the high-volume, time-compressed ordering patterns that are unique to festivals, stadiums, arenas, and outdoor events.

NOQ has raised over £3.4 million in funding and serves a growing roster of major UK festivals and events including Green Man Festival, Black Deer Festival, Secret Garden Party, Foodies Festival, and Edinburgh Street Food. The company was named one of the top 100 growing UK startups in 2022, and continues to expand its product suite and international footprint under Param's leadership.
