Paloma Health

Paloma Health is a London-based digital healthcare company founded in November 2023 to radically improve NHS access to children's autism assessments. In the UK today, families wait an average of three to five years for an NHS autism assessment — a delay that causes profound anxiety, delays access to support, and impacts children's mental health and development. Paloma Health is building the infrastructure to deliver these assessments within four weeks, through a combination of care pathway redesign, AI-enabled clinicians, and next-generation clinical software.
The company's model draws on the experience of its founding team, who collectively have over fifteen years of building technology-enabled NHS service providers and have treated over one million patients across obesity, diabetes, and ophthalmology programmes. Paloma Health uses software automation to remove administrative bottlenecks, a trained pipeline of specialist assessors, and a patient-first digital experience designed to be accessible and reassuring for families throughout the process.
Paloma Health raised £2 million in pre-seed funding from Triple Point Ventures, Heal Capital, and prominent angel investors including Pam Garside and James Allgrove, to launch its first NHS autism assessment service. The company is targeting a significant expansion of capacity to meet the growing demand for timely assessments across England.
