Reppo Labs

Reppo Labs is a Protocol Labs Venture Studio spin-out, founded in March 2024 by Raghav Rmadya to solve a fundamental bottleneck in AI development: the siloing of niche, high-value datasets behind proprietary walls with no efficient mechanism for AI agents to discover, negotiate access to, or fairly compensate their owners. As AI models exhaust publicly available training data and demand for specialised datasets grows, Reppo is building the connective infrastructure layer between data owners and AI builders.
The company's core product is a permissionless, intent-centric Data Exchange powered by Anoma and secured by Gateway Protocol. It allows AI developers and autonomous agents to communicate data needs, negotiate access terms, and execute agreements directly with data owners — eliminating intermediaries and enabling price discovery for data that would otherwise remain unused. Reppo uses programmable IP co-ownership as the incentive mechanism, ensuring data contributors receive fair compensation from downstream AI applications that use their data. An early use case involved training AI auditors for solar farm networks on the Glow Protocol using off-chain operational data.
In January 2025 Reppo raised $2.2 million from Protocol Labs, CV VC, and CMS Holdings, with a community allocation on Echo.xyz that sold out in under ten minutes. Notable angels include Charles Songhurst, Dieter Fishbein of Anoma, and Thomas France of Ledger. The company is headquartered in the Cayman Islands with a globally distributed team combining expertise in AI/ML, blockchain, and Web3 infrastructure.
