Vestd

Vestd is a London-based equity management platform that helps UK startups and SMEs design, issue and manage employee share schemes and equity arrangements. Founded in 2014 by Ifty Nasir and Naveed Akram, it is the only FCA-authorised sharetech platform in the UK and is fully integrated with Companies House, allowing founders to issue shares and options digitally with immediate effect.

The platform supports time-based, milestone and growth-share vesting and offers tooling for EMI schemes — the UK's most tax-efficient employee option scheme — alongside unapproved options, growth shares and 'co-founder prenups' that tie equity to contribution and tenure. In 2024 Vestd added InVestd Raise, a fundraising module that handles dilution modelling and share issuance for startups raising capital.

The company became a certified B Corp in 2024 and the same year won the WSB Awards' Share Scheme Provider of the Year. Vestd's research on remote work has been cited in UK parliamentary debates, and the company expanded its operations to India in 2025 through a joint initiative with Trica Equity.
