Ifty Nasir is the co-founder and CEO of Vestd, a London-based equity management platform for UK startups and SMEs. Founded in 2014, Vestd is the first and only FCA-authorised sharetech platform in the UK and integrates directly with Companies House, allowing founders to issue shares and options digitally. The company expanded into India in 2025.

Nasir spent more than two decades at BP before moving to Essar Energy, where he served as Executive Director and then CEO of Essar Energy E&P. He left corporate life in 2014 to start Inaverve, a research vehicle to study early-stage company challenges, which became the basis for Vestd. He launched the platform with co-founder Naveed Akram, putting up roughly half the initial capital themselves and raising the remainder from third parties.

Vestd became a B Corp in 2024 and won the WSB Awards' Share Scheme Provider of the Year that same year. Nasir hosts the FounderMetrics podcast and is a frequent commentator on employee ownership; his research on share schemes has been cited in UK parliamentary debates. He grew up in Bradford and is a Stanford graduate.
