Vinterior

Vinterior is a London-based online marketplace for vintage and pre-owned furniture, connecting design-conscious buyers with a network of more than 2,000 independent dealers across over 30 countries. The company positions itself as a circular alternative to mass-produced flat-pack furniture and long-lead-time design retailers, with inventory spanning mid-century, art deco, Scandinavian modern, industrial, British and French antique styles.

The company was founded in 2015 by Sandrine Zhang Ferron and Leslie Fournier, originally launching with a dozen London dealers and a small mid-century inventory. It has since grown into Europe's largest premium pre-loved furniture marketplace, with around 200,000 products listed across furniture, lighting, textiles, art and homeware categories. Vinterior handles the sourcing, payments and delivery layer that independent dealers typically struggle to build themselves, and gives buyers a curated catalogue rather than a flea-market browse.

Vinterior has raised approximately £15 million in total, including a 2021 Series A led by Active Partners with participation from Venrex, and a 2024 £3 million media-for-equity deal with Channel 4 Ventures aimed at expanding the brand's reach beyond London via national television advertising. The company has also raised crowdfunding capital from its own customer base.
