Wexler.ai is a London-based legal technology company building a fact intelligence platform — an AI system that reads across large, unstructured document sets in contentious matters, extracts and verifies the relevant facts, and organises them into structured, source-traceable chronologies that legal teams can act on. The company was founded in January 2023 by Gregory Mostyn and Kush Madlani through the Entrepreneur First LD19 cohort.

The problem Wexler addresses is one of the most time-consuming and expensive tasks in high-stakes litigation: establishing the factual record. In complex commercial disputes, arbitrations and investigations, legal teams must work through hundreds of thousands of emails, contracts, HR records and financial statements to pin down what happened on each contested point. Wexler runs those documents through a gated pipeline that isolates discrete, verifiable events — who said what, to whom, when, and why it bears on the case — rather than returning summaries or loosely sourced excerpts.

Unlike general-purpose AI tools or conventional eDiscovery platforms that organise documents for manual review, Wexler was purpose-built for the fact-lawyering at the heart of dispute resolution, operating at a scale of over a million documents per matter. Litigators, arbitrators and investigators used it to build the evidentiary record in active matters; in-house legal and compliance teams used it to surface factual exposure before it escalated into a claim. Clients included Clifford Chance, Goodwin and Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer.

Wexler launched commercially in April 2024 and grew to a team of 18, expanding revenue eightfold year-on-year with net revenue retention above 400% and a client base across Europe and the United States. It raised a $1.4m pre-seed in December 2024 and a $5.3m seed round in September 2025 led by Pear VC. In July 2026 the company was acquired by Legora, the Stockholm-based legal AI platform, with Wexler's engine becoming the fact layer beneath Legora's agentic workflows and its engineering team forming the founding staff of Legora's London hub.
