Zaro is a London-based AI company building a shared context and memory layer for enterprise organisations. The company was founded on a straightforward observation: as businesses deploy more AI agents, automation tools, and workflow software, the intelligence generated by those systems accumulates inside the vendors providing them rather than inside the companies using them. Every agent interaction, automated decision, and workflow output makes the platform smarter, not the organisation paying for it.

Zaro's platform replaces the relay model of agent-to-agent handoffs with a persistent shared space where every agent reads from and writes to the same organisational context simultaneously. Company data, decisions, meeting notes, emails, and operational history all live in a single layer that agents plug into directly, removing the need for custom connectors between tools. On top of that layer, Zaro provides application-building tools, a marketplace of pre-configured workflows, and a multi-model routing system that directs routine tasks to lower-cost AI models, which the company says can reduce operating costs significantly versus frontier-model-only deployments.

The company was founded in 2025 by Michael Bajwa and Qian Zheng, who previously helped build Proxy at Convergence — one of the first AI agents to navigate software without API integrations — before contributing to Agentforce following Salesforce's acquisition of the startup. Zaro emerged from stealth in June 2026 with a $5.1 million pre-seed round led by Cherry Ventures, with angels including Thomas Wolf of Hugging Face, GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke, Charlie Songhurst, and the founding team of Convergence. The company has an eight-person team and is already using its own platform to manage internal operations across HR, finance, and facilities.
