Abhishek Sen

Abhishek Sen is an entrepreneur of Indian heritage who spent his early childhood in Mumbai and Kolkata before building a career in mobile technology across India, Canada, the United States, the Netherlands and the UK. He conducted research in signal processing and recommender systems at TU Delft, and worked in mobile engineering roles at some of the world's most iconic consumer technology companies, including Apple, Palm, BlackBerry and WeTransfer, developing deep expertise in how smartphones sense and respond to the world around them.
In 2016, Abhishek co-founded NumberEight in London alongside Chris Watts, applying his knowledge of mobile platforms to build a privacy-first behavioural intelligence company. NumberEight's on-device AI analyses sensor data from smartphones to produce anonymous, ID-less audience insights — enabling advertisers and publishers to deliver precise, relevant advertising without relying on personal identifiers, cookies or tracking IDs.
Under Abhishek's leadership as CEO, NumberEight has raised multiple rounds of funding including a €2 million seed led by Nauta Capital and a follow-on £2.1 million round led by ACF Investors, with backing from Ascension Ventures and strategic angels from the mobile gaming and adtech industries. The company serves global clients across audio, gaming and advertising and has established a presence in the US market, representing London's creative tech sector on international trade missions to India.
