Aman Gupta

Aman Gupta is a British-Indian entrepreneur and the Co-Founder of ThingTrax, a London-based smart manufacturing platform. Drawing inspiration from his family's manufacturing business, he recognised the industry's urgent need for accessible, data-driven operational tools. Before co-founding ThingTrax, Aman worked as an Associate Partner at IBM, where he led digital transformation strategy for European manufacturing and supply chain companies, building over a decade of expertise in business analysis, R&D leadership, and solution architecture.
In 2015, Aman co-founded ThingTrax alongside Imran Shafqat, initially incubated through the Cisco and University College London IoT accelerator. The platform uses a combination of IoT, computer vision, and AI to connect factory machines, workers, and robotics in real time — making legacy manufacturing operations smarter without the cost and complexity of enterprise systems. As Chief Product Officer, Aman oversees product direction and R&D, ensuring the platform remains practically adaptable for food and beverage, automotive, FMCG, and medical manufacturers worldwide.
ThingTrax has raised £4.3 million in a pre-Series A round with backing from SuperSeed, Concentric, Puma Private Equity, and Vinci, and is currently deployed in factories across the UK and internationally. The company has been recognised as a Microsoft preferred partner and Intel AI partner in the Edge Solution category.
