Anil Stocker is the co-founder and CEO of Kriya (formerly MarketInvoice and MarketFinance), a London-based B2B fintech platform that provides embedded payments, invoice finance, and working capital solutions to businesses across the UK and Europe. Of South Asian heritage, Anil studied at the University of Cambridge and went on to build one of the UK's most significant SME finance companies, driven by a firsthand experience of how inaccessible business credit was in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis — when his then-employer, Lehman Brothers, collapsed.

Anil co-founded the company in 2011 with the mission to use technology and data to reinvent how businesses access growth financing. Under his leadership, the platform evolved from an invoice finance marketplace into a full embedded finance offering, rebranding as Kriya to reflect its expanded B2B payments and buy-now-pay-later capabilities. The name Kriya, a Sanskrit word meaning 'completed action', reflects the company's ethos of keeping business in flow. He was named in Forbes Magazine's '30 Under 30' and has been invited to speak at No. 10 Downing Street as part of HM Treasury's Fintech Week.

Kriya has advanced over £4 billion in credit to growing UK businesses and processed more than £20 billion in B2B payments. It was subsequently acquired by Allica Bank in 2025, combining fintech speed with bank-grade scale. Anil has been a consistent voice for SME access to finance and embedded fintech innovation, and sits on advisory boards across the UK fintech ecosystem.
