Asha Bakhai is a design engineer who completed an MEng in Design Engineering at Imperial College London, where she made the Dean's List.
Her early career centred on physical and health products. She spent seven months as a design engineer at Fourth Frontier, a Bengaluru health-tech start-up making heart-monitoring wearables, where she worked on user engagement and prototyped a new cardiac effort feature. In 2025 she joined Smart Design in New York, running performance tests and building prototype rigs for client products. She also coaches climbing in London and was named an Ashoka Youth Changemaker in 2026.
She cofounded Snitch in 2025 with fellow Imperial graduates Serena Sebastian and Yoshiki Connor Berrecloth, and leads it as CEO. Under her leadership the company won Imperial's £15,000 WE Innovate prize in June 2026, and in October 2026 raised £1.25M in pre-seed funding led by Eka Ventures.
