Dhruv Chadha is a British Indian entrepreneur and co-founder of Record OS. He built his early career across some of the defining names in global finance and technology, holding roles at Google, Wise and the crypto analytics platform Nansen before turning to the problem of UK tax compliance.

At Wise, Chadha joined as an early employee during the company's high-growth period, developing deep operational experience in financial services and product. It was there he met his co-founder, José Luis De La Peña. After both left the fintech group, the pair reconnected and founded Record OS — initially building software for accounting firms handling self-assessment work before identifying that the same structural problems existed for individual taxpayers.

The turning point came while Chadha was testing the platform himself: he discovered an error in his own tax return, despite having paid for professional help. That experience became the foundation of the consumer product. Record OS has since raised $2M in pre-seed funding led by Episode 1, with angel backing from former executives at Wise, Revolut, Deliveroo and Alphabet.
