Dr Fauzan Adziman is an Indonesian-born engineer and technopreneur, born in Bandung on 22 October 1979. He holds a BSc from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), an MSc from the Tokyo Institute of Technology — where he won the prestigious Miura Award from the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers — and a PhD in Computational Engineering from Swansea University, supported by the Zienkiewicz PhD Scholarship. He completed postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford, earning the department's Excellence Award in 2017. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade in the oil and gas industry before transitioning to academia and deep-tech entrepreneurship.

In 2017, Fauzan co-founded Alloyed (formerly OxMet Technologies) as a University of Oxford spinout, serving as Founder Director and Engineering Director. He is simultaneously Vice Director of the NEXTA Research Centre at Oxford, focusing on advanced materials for aerospace and electric vehicle applications. He holds an adjunct professorship at his alma mater, ITB, and has led significant international R&D programmes in structural engineering, computational modelling, and additive manufacturing.

As a co-founder of Alloyed, Fauzan has been instrumental in building one of the leading digital alloy design and additive manufacturing companies in Europe. The company's Abingdon headquarters houses one of the largest fleets of additive manufacturing machines on the continent, with clients including Boeing, Microsoft, BMW, and Anglo American. In March 2025, Alloyed closed a £37 million Series B round led by SPARX and the Development Bank of Japan, accelerating its mission to create lighter, stronger, and more precise metal components for next-generation industries.
