Harshit Jain

Harshit Jain is a software engineer and entrepreneur of Indian heritage who co-founded Bondio, a London-based connectivity platform building the infrastructure layer for local mobile access across 200 countries. A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi — one of India's most prestigious technical universities — Jain developed deep expertise in telco APIs, distributed systems, and enterprise software engineering before turning his focus to building companies.
After graduating from IIT Delhi, Jain gained experience across several major technology companies. He held engineering roles at Visa, where he worked on payment infrastructure, and at Amazon before moving into telco-focused roles. A key formative period came at Plivo, a cloud communications platform, where he developed specialist knowledge of telco API architecture — the technical foundation that would directly inform the core of Bondio's product.
In 2021, Jain co-founded SquadPal alongside Robinson Nouveau, a “Chief Happiness Officer as a Service” platform helping remote teams stay engaged. The two reunited to found Bondio in 2023 inside the Founders Factory venture studio, in partnership with Deutsche Telekom. Bondio was built on the insight that MVNOs — mobile virtual network operators behind travel eSIM apps and IoT platforms — were almost universally reselling expensive roaming connectivity rather than the faster, cheaper, and more legally compliant local connectivity that users actually need. Jain's role as CTO is to build the technical infrastructure that makes this local provisioning possible at scale.
Bondio's platform allows eSIM providers, IoT operators, and telcos to access over 1,000 carrier networks across more than 200 countries through a single API, without negotiating individual contracts or managing complex infrastructure. The company raised £1.7 million and is backed by Octopus Ventures, Haatch, GO Ventures, and Deutsche Telekom. Jain's IIT Delhi background and experience across Plivo, Amazon, and Visa make him one of the most technically credentialed founders in the UK connectivity space.
